Sandra and Barry Moore

Hi Abe: We are so sorry for your loss. I am particularly sorry I got to the hospital just a bit too late on Tuesday to hold Debbie's hand and comfort her as she made her way across to the other side. Debbie was a good person; one who could always be found in politically correct circles, doing anything she could do to make a difference in the lives of people who were struggling. She saw so clearly through BS and usually called it for what it was. She recognized hypocracy and kicked it to the curb where it belonged. The world is a sadder place without her. Many who didn't even know her will feel the loss of this fine advocate who worked on their behalf. She touched lives without expecting reward. Barry and I won't be able to attend on Saturday, Abe. I have a previous commitment - driving a vehicle for an outing for the Women's Group at Hiawatha. Somehow I think Debbie would want me to honour this commitment, and knows that she has a special place in my heart. Some day, we'll see each other again. I'll miss her. Take care of you, Abe, and if you want to chat, I'm just a call away. Hugs and love, Sam
