I can never visit Birkdale without thinking of your mom, Ruth or Mrs. Jodrell as I called her all of my life. She was always there with a ready smile and an infectious laugh that made me giggle. Mrs. Jodrell was the one who was my mom's friend and helped us through some difficult times. She will always be in our hearts as our neighbour next door. Hailey, my daughter, still has the ballerina music box she gave her when she was born. I remember when she would win at Bingo and be quite excited about this.
