I met Jim through membership in the same club, PFG. Jim took the same IPSC qualifier course as I did, and helped me make light of some very poorly reloaded ammunition I had purchased for the shoot, which was causing all kinds of failures that weekend. Jim was a gentleman, always had a friendly word or two, and was always a delight to talk to. The news of his passing was both sad and shocking. He will be missed.
