EARON: James Daniel “Jim”

Passed away suddenly after a brief illness at the P.R.H.C. on Thursday December 8, 2011. Jim was the owner/operator of Earon Cash Register Ltd. for 30 years and a Charter Member of the Kawartha Lakes Knights of Columbus Council #11924, Lakefield and a member of the Bishop Marrocco Assembly, 4th Degree, Knights of Columbus. He was a proud lifelong resident of Stoney Lake. Predeceased by his parents Ernest & Genevieve. Loving husband of 44 years to Tuulikki Earon. Proud Dad of Genevieve Earon (Brad) of Bridgenorth, Ernest Earon (Jennifer) of Thornhill, Elizabeth Earon (Shaun) of Toronto and Robert Earon (Åsa) of Stockholm, Sweden. Dear Grandpa of Connor and Rebecca. Survived by cousins Elizabeth, Dan (Karen) and Sister Sue. Also sadly missed by the Mikkola family in Sweden. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Tuesday December 13, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home at 3:45 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday December 14, 2011 at 12:00 PM at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Lakefield, followed by interment at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Young’s Point. A reception will follow at the Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army or the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
