Passed away peacefully at St. Joseph’s at Fleming Nursing Home, Peterborough on Monday June 6, 2011. Dorothy (Marshall), formerly of Apsley in her 86th year. Loving wife of the late Vernal Nesbitt (1991). Loving mother of Larry and his wife Marlene of Lakefield, Karen Bovaird (the late Jim) of Grafton, Ivan and his wife Elizabeth of Peterborough, Lyle and his wife Valerie of Apsley and Lance also of Apsley. Dear grandma of Shawntelle (Andre), Tessa (Barry), Stacy, Laura (Ken), Holly, Nicholas and Natalie. Great grandma of Autumn, Blake and Isabelle. Predeceased by her sisters Grace Sararas, Ellen Rusaw and Alice McNaughton, and her brothers George, Fred, Edward, William, Robert and Elmer Marshall. Also remembered by many nieces and nephews. A funeral service will be held at Trinity United Church, Apsley on Saturday June 11, 2011, at 2:00 PM. Visitation two hours prior to the service. Interment Apsley Union Cemetery. A reception will follow in the fellowship hall of the church. Memorial donations may be made to the Five Counties Children’s Centre as expressions of sympathy.
