When we were young mothers, Fern and I were neighbors. Our kids played together and intermingled. They were back and forth and welcome in each of our homes. It was a time in our lives that was hectic, busy and most of all fun for our children. I remember it with good feelings and I think at that time we thought it would never change. But time changes everything, children grow up and move on and life moves with it. I will keep those memories in my heart for both of us, Fern. Your Wendy, Susan and David will be lost without you but they are strong adults just like you taught them to be and I know they will continue to raise your beloved grandchildren the way you want them to.
