FRENCH: E. Jean
Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday February 13, 2010. Jean French of Peterborough in her 84th year. Loving wife of the late Sherman French (2002). Sadly missed by her children Lynne Cooper of Peterborough and Steven (Cathy) of Ennismore. Gramma is remembered by Emily Cooper and her husband Adam Moncrieff and David Duncan and his fiancée Adeline Fung. Also missed by her sisters Judy Hallam (Rodger) of London, Sally Reid (Art) of Lakefield, brother Gerry Foster (Pat) of Edmonton, sisters-in-law Freda & Norma Foster and brother-in-law Fred Wilson. Predeceased by her brothers Lorne & Lloyd Foster, and sisters Alice Wilson, Topsy Heard (Ken) and Mary Van Steinburg (Van). Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, on Wednesday February 17, 2010 from 6 – 8:30 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Chapel on Thursday February 18, 2010 at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or L.A.W.S. as expressions of sympathy.
