FOSTER: Bessie Louise
Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Wednesday January 6, 2010. Bessie (Bates) of Applewood Manor, Peterborough, formerly of Apsley in her 87th year. Beloved wife of the late Tom Foster (June 2002). Loving mother of Noreen (Blake) Woods, Clarence (Marilyn), Rena (Neil) Shaver, all of Apsley, June (Stan) Harris, Harvey (Connie), Gloria (Dave) Morley, all of Peterborough and the late Sandra Bullied and Judy Ray. Dear mother-in-law of Bill Ray and Peter Bullied. Also survived by 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren. Predeceased by her brothers Clarence and Harry, sisters Gladys and Lena and her granddaughter Edwina. A memorial service will be held at the Trinity United Church, Apsley on Saturday January 9, 2010 at 1:00 PM. Visitation two hours prior to the service. A reception will follow in the church hall. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Heart & Stroke Foundation as expressions of sympathy.
