FRANSSEN, Catharina Antoinetta "Kitty"
Passed away at the Peterborough Regional Health Center on Sunday, November 29, 2009. Catharina "Kitty" (Minten) of Lakefield lived until her 81st year. Beloved mother of Robert, and his wife, Catherine of Santa Monica, California. Kitty will always be remembered by her sisters Anne Hartjes and husband Joe, of Coldwater and Lillian "Lily" Stelter of Toronto and by her brothers John Minten, and wife Jean as well as Joe Minten, and wife Helen, all of Lakefield. Also, remembered by her sister-in-law Addy Minten of Port Severn and by many nieces and many nephews. Predeceased by her parents Jeanette and Johannus Minten, sister Willy Linssen and husband Tony and by her brother Bill Minten. A memorial service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday, December 3, 2009 at 2 p.m., with visitation to commence one-hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
