Passed away peacefully at his home in Lakefield on Sunday July 26, 2009. Bob Kelly of Lakefield in his 70th year. Bob was a longtime employee of General Electric for over 30 years. Loved and missed by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy (nee Smith). Also missed by his children Steve of Oshawa, Sue Smith (Kevin) of Omemee and Jim (Michelle) of Oshawa. Loving grandfather of Matt, Scott, Sara, Erin, Laura, Curtis, Crystal, Amanda, Ashley, Kaitlynn, Sarah and great grandchildren Bailey and Jackson. Survived by several nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Predeceased by his son Robert David "Bob" Kelly and his sister Faye Dorrell. A Memorial Service for Bob will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Thursday July 30, 2009 at 1:00 PM. Visitation two hours prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or L.A.W.S. as expressions of sympathy.
