Passed away peacefully with his family by his side at The Ross Memorial Hospital, Lindsay on Monday, May 18, 2009. Jim Fawcett of Buckhorn in his 79th year. Beloved husband of 57 years to Velma (Garbutt). Cherished father of Darlene Loucks (Rod), Terry (Debbie) all of Buckhorn, Deane (Crystal) of Victoria, B.C. and Dale (Cindy) of Bobcaygeon. Dear Grandpa of Kelly, Sherri, Mark, Kristy, Tiffiny, Deana, Andrew, Cheree, Jordon, Amy and Josh and 7 great grandchildren. Always remembered by his sister Melva Curtis (Allan) and sisters-in-law Marjorie Fawcett (late Don) and Ruth Fawcett (late Keith). A funeral service will be held from the Hendren Chapel on Friday, May 22, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. Interment Sandy Lake Cemetery, Lakehurst. A reception will follow at the Buckhorn Community Centre.
