FERGUSON, Gordon Marshall "Fergie"
Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C., on Thursday, December 25, 2008. Fergie Ferguson of Warsaw in his 85th year, was a dedicated hockey coach in Warsaw for many years and was also a member of the R.C.L. Br # 511, Warsaw. Husband of the late Florence (Payne). Loving father of the late Gail Simpson and father-in-law of Don Simpson (Wendy) of Wellington. Beloved grandpa of Alex and Scott Simpson and great grandfather of Rhianon Simpson. Fergie will be dearly missed by his sisters Blanche Crowe (late Taylor) and Evelyn Merrill (late Wallace). Also remembered by his many nieces and nephews, sister-in-law Evelyn Ferguson and by his many close friends and neighbours. Predeceased by his siblings David (Laura), Alma Colby (Roy), Russell (Marjorie), Arnold (Iris) and Ottie (Ellen). Friends may call at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOME, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Sunday, December 28, 2008 from 1 - 4 P.M. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Monday, December 29, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home. Interment St. Mark's Cemetery, Warsaw, Spring 2009. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
