McFadden: William “Bill”

Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Saturday June 30, 2012. Bill McFadden of Peterborough in his 73rd year. Bill was the former owner/operator of Allen’s Hardware Store in Cobourg from 1971-1979 and Bridgenorth Home Hardware from 1980-1999. Loved and missed by his wife Janette of 48 years. Dad will be remembered by David McFadden (Kari Burgis) of Lakefield, Janice McFadden (Eric Elliott) of Caledon and Kathryn McFadden (Shawn McCall) of Ennismore. Grandpa will be missed by Ben, Shanen, Sadie and Molly. Also remembered by his brothers Jack McFadden (Marion) of Brighton, Jim McFadden of N. Ireland, sister Molly Beverland (Jim), of N. Ireland and sister-in-law Mae McFadden of Florida. Predeceased by his parents Samuel & Elizabeth, brother Sam, sister Sally McAleese, sister-in-law Violet and brother-in-law Robert. Cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Bill’s Life will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday July 6, 2012 at 1:00 PM.
