VELCHEFF, Peter James “Jim” – Retired partner of Power Engineering Service Ltd., long time member of the R.C.L., Br. 300, Norwood and the S.R.S.A. (#13).

Passed away peacefully at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Saturday, January 28, 2012. Jim Velcheff of Marmora, formerly of Norwood and Leaside in his 73rd year. Jimmy was predeceased by his wife Karin (nee Latva) just two weeks ago on January 9, 2012. Loved and remembered by his children children Gregory Velcheff and Andrea and Fred Veldhuyzen both of Norwood. Loving Grandpa of Evie and Erik Veldhuyzen and Ryland Velcheff. Dear Uncle Jim to Michael Muhli and Karen Whitney and brother-in-law to Elissa and Owen Green and Roy Muhli all of Toronto. Also remembered by his many friends and extended family. Predeceased by his sister Marian Muhli. A Legion Service will be held at the R.C.L., Br. 300, 27 King Street, Norwood on Friday, February 3, 2012 at 4:30 P.M. A reception will follow in the Legion until 6:30 P.M. As expressions of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the R.C.L., Br. 300 Poppy Fund or the Campbellford Memorial Hospital.
