JACKMAN: Fern Maccie
Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C. on Sunday October 2, 2011. Fern (Mullen) of Peterborough, formerly of Lakefield in her 90th year. Beloved wife of the late Ralph Jackman (2004). Loving mother of George (Pat), Jim (Sandy), Bob (Linda) and David. Dear sister of Barbara Greatrix. Dear Nanny of 6 grandchildren and Nan of 6 great grandchildren. Predeceased by her son Douglas, parents George & Harriett Mullen, sisters Pearl, Mable, Daisey, and Margaret and brothers Edward, Harold, Roy, Gordon and Lorne. A funeral service will be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday October 5, 2011 at 2:00 PM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the Funeral Home. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Canadian Diabetes Association as expressions of sympathy.
