I am so very sorry to hear of Joans passing. I worked with Joan at the C.M.H. for many years. She was a very special person to a number of us. God bless her.

Condolence: I was very sad to hear of Joan's death from ovarian cancer. I had the privilege of working with Joan at Hillside Family Medicine for 6 years from 1995 to 2001. She was a wonderful person to work with, always positive , always smiling , and always polite and friendly with the patients. She set an example of excellence in her position in the office of the highest standard and I enjoyed every minute of our professional relationship and true personal friendship during my time in Campbellford. I know how severely her bright light will be missed by the group at Hillside and her many friends, but of course most acutely will her absence be felt by her husband Ralph, her children, and her extended family. Condolence: Ralph and Family Joan and I were friends and classmates throughout all of our schooling in Norwood. Our families shared the love of horses and spent many happy times at the races or winter sleigh rides with our Dads holding the reins. Joan had the most beautiful smile - the same as in her photo. I was shocked and saddened by her passing. I feel privileged to have called her my friend. The last time I spoke with her was in Campbellford the day after she retired. We met in the No Frills parking lot and she was so excited about her future. We shared our family updates - she spoke so lovingly and proudly of her children and grandchildren and I could tell her life had been just as she wanted it to be - she was in a good place that day.
