NORTON: Carl William
Carl passed away at home on Sandy Lake, after a courageous battle with cancer, on Thursday August 11, 2011 at the age of 76. Beloved husband of Bonnie (nee McLaren). Father of Greg (Pam) Norton of Claremont and Linda Watson of Fowlers Corners. Cherished grampa of Richard & Geoffrey Norton and Sydney, Raegyn and Gryphon Watson. Brother of Jaci McManus of Courtney, B.C. and uncle of Rob & Kelly. Special thanks to all his friends, Dr. Ragaz and the Palliative Care Unit, care workers Shannon and Heike (R.P.N.'s) who visited and cared for Carl in his last days. Carl will be sadly missed by his loving family and many friends. The family invites you to join them for a Celebration of Carl's Life to be held at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Monday August 15, 2011 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will be held from 11:30 am until the service at 1:00 PM. Memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C. Palliative Care Unit or the Canadian Cancer Society as expressions of sympathy.
