Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at St. Joseph’s at Fleming, Peterborough on Friday July 15, 2011. Mary (Van Doormaal) formerly of R.R. #10, Peterborough in her 79th year. Beloved wife of Tony Van den Broek. Loving mother of Tony Jr. (Sue) of Bridgenorth, Ed of Ottawa, Ben (Debbie) of Peterborough, Mike (Marlene) of Douro and Angela O’Brien (Andy) of Peterborough. Beloved Oma of Mark, John, Deanna, Daniel, Marty, Jake, Grace, Nicholas, Ashley, Kirsten and Logan. Also survived by 4 brothers, 4 sisters and a large extended family in Holland. Predeceased by her parents and her oldest brother. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, on Sunday July 17, 2011 from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Parish prayers will be offered at the funeral home on Sunday evening at 6:30 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Douro on Monday July 18, 2011 at 11:00 AM. Rev. Father Ray Rick officiating. Interment St. Joseph’s Cemetery, Douro. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice Peterborough as expressions of sympathy.
