OKE, Thomas “Walter”
Peacefully on Thursday June 2nd, 2011 in Aylmer, Ontario, Walter Oke passed away in his 84th year. Husband of the late Lesley Potter. Soul Mate of the late Darlene Schweyer. Father of James Oke (Gail) of Lakefield, Caroline McCauley (Bob) of Windsor and Joyce Corbit (Doug) of St. Catharines. Dear brother of Ross Oke and his wife Nancy of Peterborough and the late Grace Young. Grandfather of six grandchildren. He will be dearly missed by Ken and Doug Schweyer and their families. A Celebration of Life visitation will be held atTHE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL, 66 Queen St., Lakefield on Wednesday June 15th, 2011 from 1:00 – 4:00 pm. Cremation wishes already fulfilled. A private family interment will follow at St. Mark's Cemetery, Warsaw. Memorial donations to St. Aidan’s Church, London, Ont., the London Regional Cancer Clinic, or the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.
