ROSE, Donald (Don)

In Campbellford on Wednesday, May 1, 2013, Donald Rose of Campbellford and Trent River (formerly of Cobourg and Montreal), in his 92nd year. Predeceased by his wife and best friend Elizabeth (Betty) Rose. He will be greatly missed by his daughter Elizabeth Rose and her husband Ian Irvine of Montreal and his son Brian Rose and his wife Ellen of Toronto. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Evan, Neal, Graham and Alexander and great-grandchildren Peyton, Alastair, Zoe, Duncan and Phoebe. Brother of the late Jack and Bill Rose. Brother-in-law of Evelyn Rose and the late Helen Rose. He will be best remembered for his love of the outdoors, his appreciation of the simple things of life and for the twinkle in his eye. Friends will be received at the HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, NORWOOD CHAPEL, 36 Queen St. Norwood, on Friday May 3, 2013 from 7-9 PM. A Funeral Service will be held in the Trent River United Church on Saturday May 4, 2013 at 2:30 PM. Final resting place Maple Grove Cemetery, Havelock.
