Passed away peacefully at her daughter’s home in Woodview on Friday April 12, 2013. Margaret Johnston of Lakefield, formerly of Brampton, aged 92 years. Beloved wife of the late Thomas Rowan Johnston (2012). Loving mother of Maureen (Francis Van Hoekelen) of Douro, Jo-Anne (George Cermak) of Vaughn, Tom Johnston (Patricia) of Bright, Ted Johnston (Susan) of Brampton and Pauline (Jim Johnson) of Woodview. Remembered by 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. Dear sister of Bruce Smith (Cecelia) of B.C., and sisters-in-law Aurelia and June Smith. Predeceased by her brothers Walter & George Smith and sister Pauline (Jim). Survived by many nieces and nephews. Church on Wednesday April 17, 2013 at 3:00 PM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow in the Heritage Room of the funeral home.
