Joseph C.  Minten
MINTEN: Joseph C.
Passed away peacefully at the P.R.H.C., Palliative Care Unit, on Wednesday, March 27, 2013. Joe Minten of Buckhorn in his 74th year. Beloved husband and devoted partner of Helen Minten for 52 years. Dearly loved by his daughter Jennifer Guest (Art) of Curve Lake. Survived by his brother John (Jean) of Buckhorn and sisters Ann Hartjes (Joe) of Coldwater and Lillian Stelter of Toronto. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Joe will be greatly missed by many friends. Predeceased by son Michael John Minten (1991), parents Helen Jeannette & Johannus, brother William and wife Ann, and sisters Kitty Franssen, and Willy Linssen and husband Tony. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2013 at St. Matthew/St. Aidan Anglican Church, Buckhorn at 11:00 AM. A reception will follow in the parish hall. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the P.R.H.C. Palliative Care or St. Matthew/St. Aidan Anglican Church as expressions of sympathy.
