Condolence: I was so very shocked to hear about the news of Dr. Senior passing. Dr. Senior has been my family doctor since birth and new me and my family inside and out. He was an amazing man and was so dedicated to his patients. I cannot imagine ever having another doctor who knew me as well as Dr. Senior did. He helped me and my family so many times over the years. My deepest sympathies to Colleen and the family in this very sad time. Dr. Senior will be greatly missed.

Condolence: Our family was fortunate enough to have Steve as our Family Dr. for 34 years. He delivered both our daughters and in their birth announcements we thanked Steve for his kindness and compassion...those remained unchanged through the years. He has left a positive mark, both personally and professionally. For a man who prided himself for being on time, he left this world far too early. Condolence: I was one of the group at Ain't Louie Fest. As it happened, Steve and I spent Sunday on the Tellico River together. He did extremely well, and I didn't do well at all. So I didn't attempt the relatively difficult section of the Little River with him on Monday.

I had met Steve in 2012 and liked him, so I looked forward to paddling with him for the week. On Sunday I found I liked him even more, for his quiet competence, dry sense of humor and empathy.

To Steve's family, I am so very sorry for your loss. Please know that his boater friends everywhere will remember him and miss him.

Condolence: Colleen and family, I was deeply saddened and so sorry to hear about Steve. Years have gone by but I always remember the special times we had in Moose Factory and Moosonee. Steve was a very dedicated family doctor, and a sincere, kind, and thoughtful person. My thoughts and prayers will be with you.

I can relate and appreciate all that has been said of our Dr. Senior
He had in one way or another significantly touched our lives regarding of the length of time we knew him.
They say from the time we are born to the day we are called home it is the years between these dates that matter most. For that little dash (so to speak) represents all the time we spent on earth. For those of us that knew and loved Dr. Senior know what that little line is worth.
My prayers and thoughts are with you all, on this day Tuesday, March 19, 2013 as Dr. Senior is laid to Rest.
God Bless our American team of fellow canoeists who risked their own lives to rescue and try to save Dr. Senior.

Yes that is so true . All that we love deeply becomes part of us and no one or anything can take that away from us!

Although I never met any of you I am truly saddened by Steves death.Steve was more than just a friend to me,he was an amazing person.He was always so kind and considerate to me that everyday at work I looked forward to a joke,laugh or hear about his canoe adventures from him.His passing will not only leave a void in all our lives but in the hearts of everyone that knew him.Work will never be the same without him there.
