Passed away peacefully after a lengthy illness, surrounded physically and spiritually by his loving family at the P.R.H.C. on Friday November 30, 2012. Carl Wallace of Lakefield in his 85th year. Carl was a longtime employee of Ontario Hydro for almost 40 years and a faithful member of St. Mary’s R.C. Church in Young’s Point. Loved and missed by his wife of 56 years, Barbara (nee Hamblin). Also sadly missed by his children, Paul Wallace (Karen) of Mississauga, Father Keith Wallace of Ajax, Barry Wallace (Tricia) of Waterdown and Anne Wallace of Peterborough. Grandpa is remembered by Kim, Kelly (Ryan), Mark, Mackenzie, Jordan, David (Nicole), Samantha, Kristin and by great grandchildren Hailey, Abby, McKenna, Casey and Carly. Predeceased by his parents George and Helena. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Wednesday December 5, 2012 from 2-4 & 7-9:30 PM. Parish Prayers will be offered at 9:15 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Paul the Apostle R.C. Church, Lakefield on Thursday December 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment St. Mary’s Cemetery, Young’s Point. A reception will follow in St. Paul’s Parish Hall.
