Condolence From: Ed, Karen, Shannon, Maggie and Laura Dillon
Condolence: It seems like yesterday when Shannon and I would pick up Dylan and Jim at 6:15 on Sunday morning for a 7 a.m. practice in Ennismore. Dylan and Shannon would be so quiet on the way there and so loud on the way back. Dylan you were such a great kid and a great skater and hockey player. We were so sad to hear of your passing. Your death leaves a void in the community. God bless you and Rest in Peace. Jim and Denise - our hearts go out to you.

Condolence: May you all find comfort and peace in the very difficult days ahead. Dylan had a gift of making all that crossed his path feel like a million dollars, always eager to say "hello". His amazing personality imprinted on people's hearts, and that is the place they will bring forward their memories of him. We lost a caring soul, one who was loved by more than he realized. We count ourselves so fortunate to have had Dylan be a part of our life journey's! May the memories of this amazing spirit dance in your hearts forever, may this remembrance bring you comfort in your time of need. Much love being sent to all that grieve this amazing man. <3

Condolence: Oh how sad it is to know when wandering in Lakefield that we will no longer get to see Dylan's big smile and hear his sincere greeting. I was truly blessed having the opportunity to teach Dylan and get to hear about his dreams and interests. The great part is that Dylan would return many, many times over to say how things were going. It is so sad that he was taken so young. My prayers are with his family and friends. God Bless!

Condolence From: Alex and Sandra Lecuyer
Condolence: Denise, Shock and sadness are the only two words we have in our hearts. Sandra and I are so sad to hear of Dylan's passing. Dylan was a very caring smart young man that God has taken back way to early is his life. Dylan's legacy as a friend will remain in many hearts for years to come and he will be missed by many. To lose a child at any time is hard for a mother, Dylan loved you so much, everyone can tell. We were fortunate to know Dylan through our time at the cottage with Ray and Jennifer. Ray and Jen would always get excited when they knew that Dylan and Hailey were coming to the cottage. Ray always spoke highly of Dylan and was proud of all he had accomplished in his life. We have been saddened since we received the call on Saturday, and still cannot believe Dylan is gone. Our hearts go out to you, Hailey and the family and hope you will reach out to Sandra and I if you need anything. One word comes to mind that I remember Dylan saying-"Peace"

Condolence From: Jill, Lisa & Erin Hamilton
Condolence: We were all shocked and saddened to hear of Dylan's passing, and send our sincere condolences from out here in BC. In our first few months in Lakefield in 2000, Dylan was a regular visitor to the house, which helped Lisa & Erin settle into their new home so far from friends and family in Africa. Over the years, we regularly bumped into him around town and at school functions. Dylan was always friendly and chatty and full of useful information about Lakefield. We will remember him as an active young man with a big heart - a good kid.

Condolence From: Martin and Brenda Jessup and family
Condolence: Dear Denise, Jim, Hailey, and family ; Dylan was a gift, the kind that you look for and quite often never find. In his younger years it was a priviledge to listen to his views, dreams, goals, and share laughter, ideas, and have him tell me how to make recipes just a little better the way "You" Denise or Jim, had just that certian touch, spice, or technique with. We all laughed one night at dinner when Dylan spoke up and said, " You know Brenda, these hamburgers don't need bread crumbs and a few more spices is how you make them taste a little better. Ya just gotta buy the right meat!" Then off outside for a game of road hockey. I laughed so hard that night because he spoke from the heart for my improvement...gotta say it worked wonders! At the beach Dyl would just be there, join in whatever was and if things were getting carried away , as they do hot days at the beach, we just sat chatting about anyting and everything. I was blessed. I don't have many pictures, other than the ones etched in my heart. They have become a gallery for Dylan I will treasure forever, as will our family. Sometimes in life accentricities aren't appreciated to their full potential and that can hurt deeply sometimes. Dylan got to feel that hurt, however those of us who got to appreciate the product of his spirit are forever blessed. The finest gifts in life are those that grow into our souls in time. It is my prayer, thought, wish, meditation of comfort that he was taken futher on his journey in this unniverse, out of the finest love earth offered him...In the arms of Hailey Judges, who loved every form of Dylan his family created. God bless you Hailey, Denise, Jim, every friend with Dylan as he passed that tragic night. Always remember powers higher than we have the reasons why. Dylan would want you moving on in peace. When your heart aches, as does mine, Dylan-Dilly's smile and laughter flood my heart with a sense he's found his paradise, never to be lost. Love and peace to all of our community at this time.
