November 3, 1917 – October 16, 2012
After a long and full life, Earl passed away at Riverview Manor, Peterborough, 18 days prior to his 95th birthday. Earl Robinson of Peterborough, formerly of Lakefield, predeceased by his first wife Evelyn (d. 1986) and is fondly remembered by his second wife, Betty. Loving father of Karen and her husband Randall, and Neil and his wife Anne. Cherished Grandpa of Laura and her husband Francis, Jennifer and Jaclyn. Beloved brother of Sarah (Sadie) Johnston and brother-in-law of Margaret Robinson. Predeceased by brothers Raymond, Allan and Jack Robinson and sister, Alma Robinson Johnson. Dear Uncle Earl to many nieces and nephews. A resident of Lakefield (1950 – 1990), Earl enjoyed working at Kingdon Lumber, as sexton and bell ringer at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lakefield and part-time at Hendren Funeral Home. The family would like to express their sincere thanks to the staff at Riverview Manor for their compassionate care and support given to Earl since he moved there in May 2011. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday October 19, 2012 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM. A funeral service will be held from St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Lakefield on Saturday October 20, 2012 at 11:00. Interment Hillside Cemetery.
