GALVIN: James Edmund “Coach”

Passed away suddenly at his home on Monday October 1, 2012. Jim Galvin of Lakefield in his 72nd year. Jim will be fondly remembered for his many years of dedication to hockey and baseball in Lakefield. He was Past President and a member of the Lakefield and District Lions Club. Loved and missed by his wife of 47 years, Gloria Galvin. Loving dad of Bob of Toronto, John of Lakefield and Jeff of Toronto. Grandpa and Poppa of Nataya and McKie. Survived by his sister-in-law Betty Buta and brother-in-law Leon Buta (Judi). A funeral service will be held at the Lakefield United Church on Saturday October 6, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Interment Lakefield Cemetery. A reception will follow at the Niels Pind Room of the Lakefield-Smith Community Centre.
