HAMM, Joanne Frances (nee Hamilton)
Passed away at the P.R.H.C. on Tuesday September 25, 2012 after courageously fighting her long illness. Joanne Frances Hamm (Hamilton) of Lakefield in her 52nd year, beloved wife and “my bride” of Steve Hamm. Mom will always be loved and remembered by her son Robert (Crystal Eatmon) of Peterborough and daughter Robin Woodruff (Adam) of Woodview. Joanne was anxiously awaiting to become “Grammy Hammy” to two grandchildren due in October and March. Also missed by her sisters Mary Lou Bancroft (Jim) and Kathy Simpson (Brent), step mother Maureen Hamilton, step sisters Sherry Steele (Clark), Sandra Hamilton (George Piskopos) and Michelle Hamilton (Elmiro Amaral), sisters-in-law Susan Follett (Kevin) and Kelly Diamond (Albert) and by her nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her mother Marguerite Frances (nee Stacey), father Charles Hamilton and brother Robert John Hamilton. Relatives and friends are invited to call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 6 – 9 PM. A funeral service will be held in the Hendren Chapel on Monday October 1, 2012 at 11:00 AM with visitation to commence at 10:00 AM. A reception will follow at the Royal Canadian Legion, Br. # 77, Lakefield. As expression of sympathy, memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
