GOADSBY: John Thomas (WWII Veteran)

Went home to be with his Lord on Monday February 13, 2012. John Goadsby of Ennismore, formerly of Toronto in his 87th year. Loved and missed by his wife of 63 years, Alice (nee Johnson). Also missed by his son Morgan Goadsby (Marianne) of Ennismore. Dear Grandpa of Grace, Rachel and Olivia. Survived by his sister Rosamunde McFarlane of Ottawa and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his parents, brothers Ray & Bill and sisters Mabel & Dorothy. Friends and relatives may call at THE HENDREN FUNERAL HOMES, LAKEFIELD CHAPEL on Friday February 17, 2012 from 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be held at Ferndale Bible Church, 25 Ferndale Ave., Peterborough on Saturday February 18, 2012 at 11:00 AM. Visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment Hillside Cemetery, Lakefield. Memorial donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association as expressions of sympathy.
